On May 20th and 27th we will host our fourth annual baseball skills camp and we’re excited to get out onto the ball diamonds! If you haven’t been a part of our camp in the past, we’d love for you to come out and join us! The baseball skills camp is for youth ages 5 to 12. It is held from 9am to noon at William McCulloch Park. At the camp, we teach baseball skills at beginner to intermediate levels, so it can be a way to introduce the sport for those who haven’t played it or serve as a warm-up for children who play softball during the summer. We work on batting, throwing, catching and also some game situation drills.
At our camps we put an emphasis on FUN! Our volunteers have a passion for the sport and love to pass this on to youth in a positive environment. Each day also includes a devotion time; when one of our leaders will give a message about how the Bible applies to our lives. The Good News message in the Bible is also a passion of ours that we like to share. This may be something new to some children (or parents), but we encourage everyone to consider what the Bible says and understand the hope and fulfillment it brings to life.
We would love for you to join us! Register your youth ages 5 to 12 here.
