What to expect

Entering a church for the first time can be a little intimidating.

Here are some answers to questions you might have.

WILL I BE CALLED OUT FOR BEING A VISITOR?

If you are our guest you will not be called out, and we will not have you stand up and state your name in front of everyone. You will be greeted as you walk in the doors, and met by some friendly people. And if you’d like, they might even introduce you to some of our leaders (one on one). Otherwise, simply come on in, find a seat or seek an usher for guidance and see if this is the church for you.

WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?

We definitely have great things for your kids while you’re here! Following the service, school-aged children are invited to meet to get to know each other, sing some songs, review a children’s lesson and have a snack. Visit our “kids page” for more information.

A TYPICAL SUNDAY

The church doors are open to everyone every Sunday just before 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM, our two service times.

On Sundays, God is worshiped in community through singing, prayer, Bible reading, and hearing God’s message.

Morning services begin at 10AM and are usually over in just over an hour. Coffee is served for everyone in the fellowship hall. We would love to meet you so please stick around!

The afternoon services begin at 4PM and are usually an hour. The message on Sunday evenings is usually based on the teachings of Christianity that are summarized in the church’s confessions and creeds.

Both services are meant to help deepen our faith life in Jesus Christ and equip us to live out the gospel in everyday life.

WHERE IS THE CHURCH LOCATED?

It is located “on the mountain” in Hamilton, Ontario at Rymal Road West and Glancaster Road. Click here for a map.
